Kisah Inspiratif: Istri Bijaksana Kunci Kesuksesan Suami

The major auto makers in Japan have shut down their plants in response to the earthquake and resulting earthquake in Japan. This disruption in production has the potential to severely affect the supply of dealerships across America. Most dealers rely on a steady shipment of vehicles and a stop in production will be felt at around forty five days. Another problem is the logistics issue; many roads, airports and shipping ports are either destroyed or inaccessible which makes shipping near impossible. One of the major companies affected by the disaster is Honda. Eight of Honda's plants will be closed until March 20, 2011. Despite their own difficulties, Honda has generously decided to donate 3.75 million dollars towards relief and recovery efforts. Honda's production is expected to significantly affect their best-selling efficient cars and hybrids in the States; in particular the Insight and the Fit. Both of these models are currently very much in demand because of high gas prices. The 2011 Honda fit is a small car that is not only compact and efficient but also on the affordable side with a base of cost of just around $14. It competitors include the Toyota Corolla, Ford Fiesta and Mazda3. There are three trims available; the base, sport and sport with a navigation system. One impressive feature about the Fit is that it's equipped with a total of ten cupholders. It is powered by a 1.5 Liter four cylinder engine with 117 hp. Mileage stands at 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the freeway. The interior offers a large cargo room, is well insulated and offers an adjustable steering wheel. If you opt for the upper level trim Fit Sport you get USB compatibility and the ability to enter without a key. Another car which may be affected by the crisis is the Insight. As of March 17, 2011 prices on the Insight have already risen at some dealerships. In the past consumers were ability to pay less due to special sales, deals and incentives but now they are being sold at sticker price. Most hybrids tend to be slow and boring but the Insight is a quirky car with lots of personality. Mileage is at 40 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the freeway. Every time you press the brakes the engine automatically gets charged. An Ecco Assist system is also in place; this function lets you know if you're driving efficiently and encourages you to drive in a manner which conserves fuel. Pricing is in the affordable $18k range. Despite its business setbacks, Honda is donating $3.75 million dollars towards the recovery efforts. It is planning to reopen its plants and resume production on March 20, 2011.
