This temple receives a huge number of visitors on 'Janmashtmi', birthday of Lord Krishna.
Brahma temple:
'Pushkar', a town situated near Ajmer, is a famous pilgrim destination. The Brahma temple (an only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma), is situated near holy Lake of Pushkar. This temple was built in the 14th century on a raised platform. A lovely carved silver statue of the turtle is a beautiful attraction of this temple. Black and white marble tiles with silver coins place around this statue. These tiles and coins are donated by devotees on the birth and death anniversary of their loved ones. During Pushkar fair, held in Oct-Nov every year, this temple receives many pilgrims. People take a dip in the holy water of 'Pushkar Lake' first and then go to bow their head in this temple.
The Kaila Devi Temple:
This is another important temple of Hindu religion. This temple is situated at the bank of Kalisi River, about 23 km away from Karauli district. It is dedicated to Goddess 'Kaila', savior of mankind. It is constructed using expensive marble. A fair is organized at this temple and several religious rites are performed on specific days.
