Inilah 7 Cara Ampuh Membentengi Diri Dari Sihir

The great American roadster debate, or more specifically, which car's the fastest, has been a seesaw battle between some of the biggest domestic automakers. Where one person utters "Corvette" or "Camaro", another counters with "Mustang" or "Shelby". And then someone might chime in with "Viper" or "GTO" or some other muscle car from the early 60's that, even in its classic condition could have a say in the matter. Yet, the entire discussion should go further than just horsepower. Brand recognition, popularity and comfortability of the drive along with amenities should be accounted for as well. Which bucket seat is more suitable? Does one get greater gas mileage than the other one? Those are just some of the pointers that should be made when trying to reason which American roadster has a bit more moxie than the other ones. While I might be a bit biased to the Corvette (although the Camaro technically is more of a classic roadster), there's more than enough merit to go with my argument. Let's take a look at just a few of the specifications to help back up my point. The Corvette is no stranger to awards, as are some of the competitors above, throughout the years. Automobile Magazine gave the first editions of the Corvette, the Sting Ray, a coveted spot in the Top 100 Coolest Cars. It's position was just above the Viper or the Porsche 911. And what I considered to be one of the coolest awards, the Corvette brand had shown such dependability that its 1999 model was voted "Best Engineered Car of the 20th Century" by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Through it's six decades of tearing through the American (and worldwide) landscape, the Corvette's innovation and refinements have rode alongside as well. Think of it this way: the first edition rode impressively at around 270 hp while today's 2013 model's range somewhere in the vicinity of 505 hp or more, depending on model upgrades and such. All the while, they haven't sacrificed the dependability and exhilarating drive in the least. The Corvette nation itself has a dedicated base around it and an even rabid dedication for worthy causes such as Corvettes Conquer Cancer, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society where drivers from all over race in sponsored Corvette events and donate a portion of the proceedings. The notoriety has many years on the Ford Mustang, which debuted in 1965... some 11 years after the first Corvette. Who said competition wasn't good for business? And the Mustang had many more tweaks to its body, engine build and overall drive, while the Corvette has essentially kept the same body mold (save for one generation, which was a classic, smaller build) while fine-tuning engines, increasing demand and providing drivers with one heck of a joy ride. And again, even though the Mustang is technically a newcomer to the race against the Corvette, it was only by a mere 10 years and it's still had plenty of time to try and match or exceed the fame that the Corvette ushers in with every new model. But, to really break the discussion down, fans from both sides should test the other one's ride for a day, really get a feel for any differences and then be able to make a decision based off of that. What you'll most likely see is there aren't that many major changes with the feel or engines of these newer models, it's more of which sports car you've grown familiar with. And more often than not, it's likely that answer would be the Corvette. What do you think? I'd be interested in other opinions on the matter.
